In 2019, SÔNGE will drop her full-length debut album. Why mention this? Because, well, we’re a music site =D And more importantly, SÔNGE is like the ‘stuff in the Universe’ that we want to just keep in our little pandora’s box and never share. M.I.A or Santigold – SÔNGE is in that class, where the beats, rhymes, soul, and modern synth dynamics just coalesce like delicious ice-cream ALWAYS should; making you high on ‘delight’, and just wanting more and more.
Rainbow color sprinkles please.
Making us crazy is what SÔNGE does to us. Again, not to repeat the point again – we at CHF can’t dance very well. And when a song can make us get up and activate our collapsible Varidesk Standing desk, and swish our legs and bums to the beat of SÔNGE? That’s just dope.
Mind you, that’s not a ‘dope’ sight (us dancing at our work station).
But you know what we mean.
In any case, ‘Roses’ was produced by Myd (Club cheval, Theophilus London) of Ed Banger Records. And accentuating the feelings doused by the verses, the team shoots up the place with the kind of beats that surround you, hold you, and slap you at the same time.
SÔNGE is a beautiful project.
