SPARKLING ‘Alive’ (Remix by Hiro Ama) : Twisted and energizing, you want to dig into its carcass of goodness, even more.

Sparkling

Cologne-based post punk band Sparkling teamed up with Hiro Ama – know as the drummer of UK indie rock band Teleman – for a dazzling yet calming remix of their single ‘Alive’.

Brothers Leon and Levin Krasel, plus Luca Schüten, man the helm of the ship named Sparkling. They released their multilingual debut album ‘I Want To See Everything’ in 2019, co-produced by Andy Ramsay (Stereolab), and it is a critical form of excellence that is both distinct and invigorating. From synth laden singles to indie-rock infused bops and to experimental sizzles, the trio makes music that hits the spot, once and always.

Hiro Ama does a huge turn of events in the remix, as its clear coat is overlapped into a new kind of universe. Yet. The single retains the antithesis of the original’s attitude and sermon. Twisted and energizing, you want to dig into its carcass of goodness, even more.
