Spike ‘Ticket To Paradise’ : Weaving of harmonies and lyrical phantasm creeks into your emotions, and then you dance.

Spike

Spike is the lo-fi bedroom synth pop project by London musician Hannah McLoughlin. And by all indications, she’s a bad-ass. A synth princess, of blood and dread, brings together the gray for a beautifully constructed pop sensation.

‘Ticket To Paradise’ is a witchy bedroom-pop song about arriving at “paradise”, then trying to get home. So, that means you “ain’t” home yet. You’d better find a better way. Be creative. Be brave. You’ll need your wits about you. Sharp and tact.

Dark synths, distorted vocals, and lo-fi beats combine to create a gothic pop sound – that’s Hannah and the project’s calling card. Just be careful, the tight weaving of harmonies and lyrical phantasm creeks into your emotions, and then you dance.

Kudos Spike. Kudos.
