Steve Buscemi’s Dreamy Eyes ‘Swim Deep’ knows you’re there. Hold on. It’s cold down there.

Round and round the crank turns, underneath my sneakered feet – clumsy, circular, back to the middle. Intrinsic and atmospheric, Steve Buscemi’s Dreamy Eyes’ ‘Swim Deep’ lulls one into a magical hymn bound coma, chanting and chanting.

And take it to the other side of that morning.

Over and under, the mountains of hope and despare – lets trudge on.

The dais in our minds, comes with a lack of a speaker. It’s lonely, isolated – you are alone in that task. Up on that stage of metal and wood and fiber, the dank curtains behind on stage left and right, it’s a harsh world, to be sure.

The silence baffles you. The lights lower down.

The darkness encloses to the limits of your own foot print, deflecting visuals of an existing world beyond that dark horizon.

Can you do it?

Can you do it?

Say the first words.

Swim, now dammit. Swim.

Open those eyes; open your lungs.

You are here for all to see.

This single is from their debut EP ‘Four Waters’ (dropping on Nov 24th), through Rama Lama in Stockholm.

Steve Buscemi’s Dreamy Eyes is fabulous, and we’re looking forward to more of their offerings.

Go, go!
