Sur Back – Kitsch

She’s an artist – visual and sonically.

Listening to “Kitsch”, that is the impression. Then one does some digging and listen to her other offerings. Yep, artist.

Indie-Pop-Art is the marketing phrase. But Sur Back sure fits it nicely.

Caroline Sans, describes her “Kitsch” as “an altar for the skin of your ambition”. Push and pull, push and pull, agony and victory, victory seeking, failed victory – all these are wrapped up and presented.

No one can be sure what she means by “an altar for the skin of your ambition” but ultimately, we’re in.
