SUSU ‘Rolling Calf’ : Dynamic insurgence of grit and eternal attitudes, collide in the sultry sagas.

SUSU

Dynamic insurgence of grit and eternal attitudes, collide in the sultry sagas of SUSU’s single ‘Rolling Calf’. A cracking whip of determinations, the single of utmost blending and embrace, the mahogany grip of suppositions and altitudes, malign none and ever so slightly explain the unexplainable.

Supernatural, and shapeshifting sounds ooze from the grooves of SUSU’s will. “SUSU”- a Patois term loosely meaning to create “a chatter around something” is a tribute to Kia Warren’s Jamaican roots and Liza Colby’s West Indian heritage.

SUSU’s second release is a portal into ancestry, bold femininity, and explosive sexual energy coursing through sonic folklore. ‘Rolling Calf’ spins a tale of what happens when the proverbial spell is broken and the spirit is turned free.

‘Rolling Calf’ is a dreamscape set in roots/rock/reggae, in the virulently visceral and nostalgic.

The ladies are joined by Joey Wunsch, Ronnie Bruno, and Connor McClelland of the NYC’s Dry Clean Only.
