Syntext ‘Porcelain Tiger’ : Emotional viability. Lyrical gush.

Syntext

Syntext is an electronic jazz pop duo consisting of Charlie MacCall (producer) and Alex Long (vocalist).

The pair met in New York City, and mixes R&B feels of Erykah Badu to alternative pop-stars like CHVRCHES, to help bloom classical and soulful additions to the universe.

The duo focuses on lyrics concerning self-worth, personal demons, and the ironic inconsistencies of living in a ‘free’ country. Rev’ing and emotionally viable, each level of vibrato and lyrical gush.

Said the duo of ‘Porcelain Tiger’: “It’s an immensely personal track full of synths and traditional instruments about how past trauma can make you fierce on the outside but fragile within and the struggles of trying to love someone throughout their recovery.”

Enchanting.
