The story goes that Teodor Boogh started writing at age 13 and at 18 started his campaign to hit the Swedish indie scene with his house band club, ‘Orleans’. They were joined on stage by Graveyard, Hellacopters, The Soundtrack of OUr Lives, Slowgold and others. His interest in music and philosophy, he took refuge and inspiration from the music of War On Drugs, George Harrision, and Johnathan Wilson.
“It’s about trying over and over again to get some meaning out of life and chasing some abstract goal but instead just left waiting for something that never appears”.
When listening to ‘Hold On’, the ghost of George Harrison’s body of works come to clear presence, where the thought provoking anthems of yogic transformation, come hard and fast into collision with modern indie pop-rock psych inhibitions.
That mix of ingredients make this single a sultry and unique experience.
