Gazy loveliness is where ‘Serenade’ by Thala, exists. For our listening pleasure. For our vibin’ assertions for truth and justice. For our lovers, loves, and for love.
“‘Serenade’ was written during my stay in the Canaries after I’ve witnessed multiple people pretending to be happy living the ‘forever beach-life’ as an endless cycle even though clearly they weren’t. Most of them were stuck… Life was about being seen rather than being appreciated for who you might be. I guess that’s one of the ‘darker sides’ to a perfect get away that never ends..”
Thala is a Berlin based songstress. And she started playing music on the streets only one year ago, discovered the open mic scene and quickly started recording her own compositions.
‘Serenade’ is grand. It’s a slice of thought. It warms your heart, from end to end.
