The Hearing Shares ‘ICU’. “Multi-generational electro-pop goodness.”

Helsinki based siren, THE HEARING, off of her 3rd upcoming album ‘Demian’, is a demure and powerful contrast of light and dark, turning into gray.

It’s that place of solace and respite. The house tinged, electro-pop weather system of a single conducts the haunting emotional fluidity needed in this age of space, time, and the 6th dimension.

Project by Ringa Manner, she stated: “‘Demian’ is the next evolution stage of a being, and the missing piece of an album trilogy. It’s the start of something new, and an end to something meaningful from before. It’s having your broken heart heal just in time for someone to break it all over. It’s crying for people living in nightmares, and for the deafening beauty of one’s own cosmic uselessness. It’s shielding your mind with a pillow fortress, but inviting everyone else in too.”

Since it’s creation in 2012 The Hearing has released two albums ‘Dorian’ (Gaea Records, 2013) and ‘Adrian’ (Solina Records, 2016), as well as played ca. 260 live shows in 16 different countries.

Majesty is in The Hearing’s ability to recognize how far and deep she can go with her production. Layers upon layers, at the right times and of the right implications, shimmer against the beautiful nature of her melodious vocals. Colors from two, collectively amount to a total of multi-generational electro-pop goodness by the end of ‘ICU’.

The drive in EDM capabilities, and singer/songwriting commercialism tints make ‘ICU’ a glorious ride.

See The Hearing next @ Uebel und Gefährlich, Hamburg Germany October 13th.
