The Landing ‘Billion, with a B’ : “Astronomical vastness of the past, the billions of years it took to reach this moment.”

The Landing

‘Billion, with B’ is the second single off Brooklyn’s, The Landing’s upcoming EP, ‘An Anthem for the ‘Optimistic: Part 2’ (May 15th). Said the artist: “The track is inspired by the astronomical vastness of the past, the billions of years it took to reach this moment, and what to do with ‘now’ while it’s still here within our grasp.”

A classically trained musician and an amateur astronomer, The Landing intertwines synth arrangements fit for a symphony orchestra with philosophical meditations informed by the Cosmic perspective.

In ‘Billion, with a B’, it’s the heavy lean of that exact ‘cosmic’ perspective that shines, as ‘opportunities’ and ‘possibilities’ explode like a new nebulae, colorful and oh so, charming.
