The Legion Teaches Some Knowledge In ‘1980 Something’. Bronx Trio Returns To Shine Again.

Bronx rap trio, THE LEGION, does the historian bit, with this return to center stage single ‘1980 Something’. Ol’ school, and undeniable in style, comes with a video that makes it straight with ‘the good, the bad, and the ugly’ that defined the decade of ‘excess’.

The video was directed by the Double Dog Films crews with a clear job of ‘blending’ footage from that era. The trio consisting of Molecules, DiceMan, and Chucky Smash pass the mic from one to another as Reagan, drug busts, live performances, wild outfits, frame this nostalgic single.

Upcoming is a new album ‘Three The Bronx Way’ will drop on February 1st. Also, their debut LP (1994) ‘Theme + Echo = Krill’ is available.

The energy, highlights, and mature aesthetics, make it real in this new single. As the optimism of the current age, festers and pushes all of us into a new segment of human existence, we delve deeper, into a world that seems very familiar, yet so far away.

We can relive part of that history through music.

Through the music of THE LEGION.
