The Max Headroom ‘ODE’ : Sets the forest afire, as you’re tarred and feathered into charming guitar clarity and lyrical cosmology.

The Max Headroom

‘ODE’ was initially written in 2019 and continually evolved over the following months as it became a fan favorite throughout the live set.

“It’s a story about going out, going out so often it feels like you’re at home. A story about always needing to party with someone, never wanting to be alone.” – The Max Headroom

Adelaide, South Australia based indie-rock band, The Max Headroom, brings the right kind of attitude that can help us cope, in the meantime. With harmonies that are fantastically familiar, and the modern lyrical sentiments that doesn’t escape our attention, the band brings the heat.

Recorded at Wundenberg’s Studios in Adelaide’s West and mastered by Pete Maher (UK), this short energetic rock track encompasses all of what The Max Headroom are.

Grittiest yet, ‘ODE’ sets the forest afire, as you’re tarred and feathered into charming guitar clarity and lyrical cosmology.
