The Elephant Rope story is a Medium publication by Thanh_min. Short story/poetry, which brings lessons: revealing the frailty of what can be, up against the background of what little we know.
“As a man was passing a group of elephants, he suddenly stopped. He was confused by the fact that these huge creatures were being held by only a small rope tied to their front leg. No chains, no cages. It was obvious that the elephants could, at anytime, break away from their bonds. But they did not… He saw a trainer nearby and asked why. “Well,” the trainer said, “when they are very young we use the same size rope to tie them. And at that age, it’s enough to hold them back. However, as they grow up, they are conditioned to believe they cannot break away. They believe the rope can still hold them and never try to escape.”
Fly, fly. We can. But it’s inspiration that can open the inner eye of living.
Will we open our eyes quickly enough?

I want to highlight the beautiful artwork that accompanied "Day In, Day Out" by artist Montreal Maryse Daniel (@daniel.maryse ). She created this in a day and I love how it captures the contrast between the calm dreamlike mood of the song and its energetic digital synths. She also created a visual identity for all the future singles that I'll be releasing over the next few months. And I can't wait to share them with you all. . . . . #coverart #mtlart #digitalart #art #albumart #musicartwork #montrealart
