The Rhymes Share ‘Homerun’. “It’s the energy and forthright-ness that gets you.”

Excitement in getting back to the basics of what indie-rock can bring. That is where The Rhymes’ single ‘Homerun’ is all about.

The 80’s tinged, high-soaring, single gets you juiced for the day, the week, the gal who you think was into you, and as well as the guy who helped you take your groceries up to your brownstone staircase. It’s about fun, about the goodness of relationships, it’s just a positive power pop song that is in the realms of Franz Ferdinand, Kaiser Chiefs, The Hives.

It’s the energy and forthright-ness that gets you. It’s the highfalutin vibe. It’s the presentation.

It just works.

The Rhymes play have had 80 gigs in Germany, UK, Sweden, Norway and Finland since forming in 2016.

The band is signed to BMG Scandinavia and this first single ‘Homerun’ from upcoming debut album is out now.

The Rhymes consist of: Tomas Karlsson, Erik Eklund, Oscar Lindeberg, and Adam Ehlert.

See them next @ Cirkus Arena & Restaurang, Stockholm, Sweden, on October 22nd.
