The Shadowboxers

Bridging the gap between classic, harmony-driven melodies and contemporary pop production, The Atlanta-born collective began performing together in college. Trio of Scott Tyler, Matt Lipkins and Adam Hoffman have continuously captivated audiences across the globe with their distinctive flair

Said Scott Tyler: “We’ve spent a decade in search of our identity, meandering our way through different styles and genres in hopes of landing on something that all three of us can see ourselves in. This is the album where we found it. We locked ourselves in the studio and didn’t come out until all three of us felt like we’d communicated our visions and seen them through.”

“‘Float On By’ is a rumination on the unavoidable paradoxes of life and the anxiety of worrying about these things we can’t control,” specified Adam Hoffman. “It’s the idea that ambition is ego. The moment you stop trying, you finally get what you need. So you might as well float in the river of life”.

The journey is always hard. But the forged muscle and heart, thrusts ever more sharper and dynamic. That’s where the trio has become – now and into the future. With gracious funk and beautiful 90’s r&b/soul glimpsing grooves, their bouncy pop is all of the goodness you’d ask for.

Their road is clear.

“Just us. No one else,” emphasized Scott. “No one to hide behind or pass the ball to. We fought, we compromised, we faced issues that had been building up for a decade. “This new chapter really speaks to our versatility as a group, as well as the timelessness and undeniable appeal of genre-spanning music.”

Get acclaimed by their album ‘The Slow March Of Time Flies By’.

It’s so good.
