The Tillers Shares ‘Dear Mother’ Single & Video. New Self Titled LP Dropped, and now available.

Cincinnati, Ohio natives The Tillers debut and dropped their self titled LP and to celebrate, shared one of their singles ‘Dear Mother’ with us, the mere mortals in public land. The single is folksy and bluegrass-y, with the tinge of indie-rock attitude we love to love, when it hits our knees.

The song is fun.

They’ve been doing this music thang for a long time and riding all over the globe with their high falutin’ music ways, have been a gift for their fans and new fans alike.

Now, the new studio album is here and they are excited.

Singer-songwriter-guitarist Sean Geil says of the new record, “This album is definitely more aggressive than past efforts. At our core we are still a traditionally rooted string band, but I’d say our punk rock roots are more visible on this album.

“And the addition of Joe Macheret on fiddle has added a new dynamic and allowed us to explore new territories as well as fill out the overall sound,” Geil continued.

“Every song here is a story,” Geil says. “Some tell of our own personal experiences, while others are more topical, paying tribute to where we’re from or reflections on the state of our society.”

Anywho, we love folk music, and let’s all have some fun!

Kudos.
