These New Puritans Shares ‘Inside The Rose’. “Sights unseen. Music unheard.”

THESE NEW PURITANS’ announced more details on their 4th album ‘Inside The Rose’, due to drop March 22nd. The new album comes after 6 years following ‘Field Of Reeds’.

The project is the work of GEORGE BARNETT and JACK BARNETT, two brothers born and evolved from a total different set of tenets in music. Pop, classical, electronic, rock and experimental, come to play with ease and with innovation, when the two direct their sounds.

“The songs are about beauty, transcendence, desire, oblivion, ecstasy and eyes,” says Jack.

“I want to go beyond myself and my time,” says Jack. “That’s the art I like. Whether it’s Francis Bacon or William Blake. You fail, inevitably, but that’s the challenge.”

Along side the new album announcement, they also will run 12 live dates across the UK and Europe. Taiwanese singer/producer SCINTII will join the brothers to perform live for the European dates.

NSFW, ‘Inside The Rose’ is a mixture of sights unseen, and music unheard – scouring in whirls, spanning into the hemisphere of your mind.

The short-film was directed by Harley Weir, in collaboration with George Barnett.
