Exponentially rockin’. Garage rock attitude to the hilt. Those are a couple of notions that we feel when we vibe Three Dead’s latest single ‘Medusa’.
There’s something right about ‘Medusa’. It combines fabulously several sub-genres of rock and melds them into this gooey and wooey, siren of sounds, that are raw, powerful, nostalgic, and valiantly dipped in goodness.
Said the band: “Constant notifications from the physical and digital world, the hectic schedule of full time work and maintaining any social connections has turned our personalities & relationships into stone. The chorus screams for the complacency that is Medusa to leave your mind, whilst the outro crescendos into the chaotic fury of a mental breakdown.”
Having a highlight of playing at Glastonbury Festival this year, the momentum of hard rock viability drips off of this vascular, energy striding single.
Consisting of trio Matt Carter, Carl Booth, and Martino Algieri, the guitar driven, hard-ass, attitude revels in the pitch perfect howl of the vocals. It’s intense in delivery, salient in ingenuity, and far more complex than we’d think it could be.
Three Dead just get it done on this single. And then some.
Hailing from the city of Bristol and meeting each other through music university, the band connected over a passion for energetic live performance and DIY music making. The new single is completely self-produced and mastered independently.
