Tokyo Tea Room return with new single ‘Half The Man’, a brand new track that showcases the band’s trademark psych-pop soundscapes with a swirl of synths and hypnotic guitars.

Tokyo Tea Room began in Canterbury as the brainchild of members Daniel Elliott and Ben Marshall six years ago. In 2019, the band decided to wipe the slate clean and start afresh, releasing a slew of singles which have seen them gaining acclaim from the likes of The Line of Best Fit, Clash and Dork, as well as spins on audio indie bible BBC 6 Music, and BBC Radio 1. The singles were collected in the EP Dream Room, which ended up accumulating over 300k streams on Spotify alone.

Daniel said: “‘Half The Man’ is the voice of my inner demon wondering how things could have been different had my life taken an alternative path. Questioning whether I’m only half complete as a result, but also recognising that it made me who I am today.”
