Unicorns at Heart ‘Lovejoy Fountain’ : A culmination of depth and poetry exude through this intrinsically charming project.

Unicorns at Heart

Unicorns at Heart hail from Hesperia, California – a desert town a few hours outside Los Angeles. ‘Lovejoy Fountain’ is a cacophony of thoughts and premises that meld into this buttery petal of vision and surprising beauty. Just like their latest LP ‘Aurora’, a culmination of depth and poetry exude through this intrinsically charming project.

Led by brothers Rico and Ryan Loredo, their music explores new corners of indie rock with an intricate medley of radiant guitar and eloquent synth. Rico’s subdued vocals expressively bind these elements, bringing their songs a delicate urgency.

Rico and Ryan grew up immersed in the melodies and harmonies of classic Beatles, Beach Boys, and Motown while simultaneously fostering a love for the crucial innovations of Pavement, The Pixies, and Nirvana.

Unicorns at Heart began over Thanksgiving break in 2015 when the Loredo brothers convened with their nephew Gabriel Loredo in the family garage and began writing songs based on their shared love of these musical reference points.
