Veople’s exciting new single ‘Tilt’ is mixed by Aaron Cupples of Civil Civic in London, who brings credits for prestigious Australian artists including The Drones, Kirin J Callinan and Dan Kelly to the table.
Between Jay Jermyn and Julian Currie, Veople is an experiential sound collaboration lingering in the space between tension and release through textural melody, house-oriented rhythms and electronic production. Veople creates equally ambient and aggressive journeys by continuously pushing the boundaries and expectations of contemporary listening experiences.
With the recent addition of Ben Smith’s dynamic percussion, Jermyn and Currie are cognisant of what working with the best in the Australian music industry can offer. ’Tilt’ is just one of four tracks to be released by Veople in 2020.

“Tilt” had multiple different incarnations before we landed on the final version you’ll be hearing on Friday. For a while there we were playing mostly improvised sets around a few structured loops, “Tilt” was born out of those improv sets, until Julian turned up to one recording session with the perfect simple guitar line that now finds itself the base of the song. Don’t forget Jules will be taking over “News on the hour” tonight mixing Sky news. Performance at @hotagc last year with visuals by @jason.haggerty_
