VHS King ‘Prom Song’ : We can maybe unfurl our chips on shoulders, to reveal some commonalities amongst men and women.

VHS King

The debut single from VHS King surpasses different decades and has its heart at its sleeves for examination.

“I used vintage synthesizers and drum machines to create a strong 80s/nostalgic vibe, and the thematic elements are meant to evoke the desire to return to innocence,” said VHS King. “I am looking to capture the tacky, light-hearted parts of the 80s aesthetic that makes the 80s so unique and instantly recognizable. I hope that my music is more of a fun, engaging experience for my audience.”

With retro fittings and coming-of-age attitudes, VHS King offers up something that we’d kinda lost in the current world: innocence.

And with that just reminder by VHS King, we can maybe unfurl our chips on shoulders, to reveal some commonalities amongst men and women.

VHS King is film maker in Los Angeles, utilizing different mediums to express his collective thoughts.
