Listen to Vive La Void’s new single ‘Death Money’ and yes, it’ll get you very intrigued and accidentally aroused. The new album drops May 4th.

“I wanted the voice to have a kind of ghostly quality, to emerge from and recede back into the song, or to pass over it like weather. It’s one of many layers of sound, which are meant to blend together in such a way that on one listen you might hear one thing, and on another listen you might hear something else, so the music seems to change even as it stays the same.”
On May 4th, she’ll be releasing her maiden publication with Sacred Bones and her synthesizers and vocal stylings should take psychedelia and synth-pop to another level of Dante’s Inferno. The atmosphere is dark, grey, and ambiguous – her music is scintillating with an extra sauce of Sriracha for good measure. It’s that dull pain you feel, after the hit to the head.
