Wisemind ‘See You In My Dreams’ : Doing psychotherapy by day and making music by night.

Wisemind

Doing psychotherapy by day and making music by night, Matthew Snyder (Wisemind), is a Los Angeles-based music producer and multi-instrumentalist who strives to make his music both an escape for himself and those who listen to it.

“The balanced part of us that comprises our inner knowledge and intuition, where our emotional thinking mind (thoughts driven by distressing feelings) and rational thinking mind come together (Linehan 1993). Wise mind is that part of each person that can know and experience truth. It is where the person knows something to be true or valid.”

‘See You In My Dreams’ is a follow up of Wisemind’s album, ‘Late Night Musings’ – which blended and bends genres to achieve his unique, retro-yet-current sound in a tape-saturated musical journey. The interesting and the quirky will drive you mad with inquiry. And we guess, in a musical exercise such as ‘See You In My Dreams’, an examination of the norm, sometimes is more vibrant than any fiction.

Wisemind explores, indeed.
