wordsbyjuni ‘favourite machine’ : But what about those human feelings and qualities that will make them more ‘human’?

“Let’s be honest, is there any person that knows you better than your personal computer?” asked wordsbyjuni. “From entertainment to education, prayer to porn, these devices give us access to everything we could possibly want and more. Maybe that’s why we spend most of our waking lives on them. Maybe that’s why modern dating has become so complicated.”

That’s why humans will converge and become ‘one’ with the machine’s we’d invented. Humans are fragile. Weak. Weak of heart and goes on and on about the bad weather we’re having. Right?

Machine? Nope. They don’t care. Will be a work horse. No complaining. Just a bit of breakage here and there.

But what about those human feelings and qualities that will make them more ‘human’?

In the year 3020, we won’t care because our descendants will have already merged.

Whoa. What a diatribe, eh?

Get in now with wordsbyjuni. Let’s enjoy the ‘human’ qualities of music, while we can.

𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐈𝐭 𝐈𝐬 pre-save live now! link in bio (duh)⁣ ⁣ I’ve received dozens of messages from junebugs (that’s what the press has been calling juni fans) around the world saying “juni you’re so cool, you’re so handsome, when’s the next single coming out 😩”⁣ ⁣ And I’ll typically respond by saying something like “haha no please you flatter me too much,” (I’m very humble) before following up with “I’ll let you know when I know”⁣ ⁣ And now I know! So i'm letting you know that ⁣𝘏𝘰𝘸 𝘐𝘵 𝘐𝘴 𝘥𝘳𝘰𝘱𝘴 𝘰𝘯 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘮𝘴, 𝘛𝘩𝘶𝘳𝘴𝘥𝘢𝘺 𝘈𝘱𝘳𝘪𝘭 𝟷𝟼𝘵𝘩 <𝟹𝟹 ⁣ I’m releasing this song in particular because being quarantined at home has been giving me Vietnam-style flashbacks to the social isolation of my teenage years, where I was being eternally “grounded” for one vague reason or another as a way to stop me from going to house parties, having orgies, and smoking crack (or whatever it is brown parents think teenagers get up to 🙄) ⁣ It’s basically a 2m33 recap of my bizarre-ass adolescence, and all the stupid shit I did to cope at the time. ⁣ ⁣ Shoutout to @JGDebray for the artwork, it perfectly captures what i think he thinks is my vivid interest in stuffed teddy bears, giant lollipops, and the collective works of Salvador Dali :))) and to @mrsmakaveliart for capturing me at my mopey-est 😞 ok speech over pls pre-save bye xx
