‘Hot Kiss’ is the new single from the California duo, Year of the Tiger. The band blends which blends thick indie-rock guitars, hypnotic, driving drums topped with the pair’s hooky melody, showcasing their ability to seamlessly fuse pop sensibilities with gritty rock’n’roll.
They released their first EP, ‘One’, then wasted no time returning to the studio to get working on their 2nd EP. Thankfully, prior to California’s call for shelter-in-place, the pair was able to finish tracking most of the necessary instruments in the studio and then utilized Dropbox and their own home-studios to finalize and tweak the songs to completion.
This new EP, aptly titled ‘Two’.
Poppy and exuding with good-will, ‘Hot Kiss’ is a song of desire and something we’d all want in our lives. Hot-kisses, included.

Surprise! @yearofthetigerrr (@jonathanjones and @margotpolomusic), finished up the newest round of songs, and we're proud to announce that our new EP, "Two", is now officially LIVE! Prior to all of the shelter-in-place/quarantine calls, we were able to get the drums and other primary instruments tracked, thankfully! We then sent the songs and session files back'n'forth, using Dropbox, tweaking them until they were done! Certainly, not an approach we'd prefer over doing these things in person–but we're so happy to have them out into the wold, for all your ears to hopefully enjoy ❤️ Big, big thanks to @liamoneill, once again, for his legit skills on the drums, and @scottmckaygibson, @luke_petrucci, and @nagytone at @studiowestsd for all of their help engineering, guiding and, overall, lending the magic to make all these songs happen. Cheers! Please go give it a listen or two on Spotify or whatever your favorite platform is! Thank you!!! (LINK IN BIO!)
