We’d been familiar with Yeseo for many, many months now, and it has been a very good journey.
Yeseo is one of the rare South Korean indie/synth pop artists that has CFH giddy. It’s a rare thing, because the dominating style of music in South Korea is the ever popular K-Pop category.
It’s a fine line between “saccharine-pop” (which we deem pure K-pop to be) and “korean indie-pop”. Yeseo navigates that well and puts down some compelling notes and angles in her songs.
And we like it this way.
It’s always refreshing and less “sighing”, when we get to find and listen to artists like Yeseo.
Kudos Yeseo, kudos.
