Youtube checks what people listen to, and where. NYT reports.

The New York Times reports an update on what we human beings listen to in the Unite States. Some of it is slightly surprising, some are weirdly expected, and there’s Wyoming and the Dakotas.

There are consistent correlation with the use of YouTube and it generally goes along with political/demographic lines. If there was YouTube in the 1950’s when Rock & Roll became the thing, probably see the similar fences.

Unfortunately, there isn’t a strictly “Indie” search published by YouTube, but what the heck.

Well, see for yourself.
